With so many baked goods being filled with the most common food allergens, we found it nearly impossible to find great-tasting products that were also good for us. It's no secret that many people suffer from a number of different food allergies, making it extremely difficult to find baked goods suitable to their particular dietary needs. Often, we would find a gluten-free product only to be disappointed upon learning that it contained eggs or milk. Other times, we'd discover an item whose sugar content forced us to forgo it. Coupled with our own frustration over the limited number of baked items for those with special dietary needs, we soon recognized the numerous food allergies and sensitivities among family and friends. As we identified the need for quality allergen-free baked goods, icing was created.
Unless otherwise noted, our baked goods are free of the following: gluten, wheat, nuts, dairy, casein and eggs. In addition, they are low in salt, vegan and some are free from white sugar, too. Products that use agave nectar may even be appropriate for those with diabetes..
We use 100% organic ingredients, and our products are preservative free. Most importantly, all of our baked goods are allergen free, all the time. Our items are a healthy choice for anyone, and they taste great too!
